They’re taking it well then.
Bernie celebrated the equaliser like it was a CL final, Haaland's sprint to celebrate was more energetic than anything he did all game, and the young academy lads looked so proud of themselves it could have been graduation day.

And I honestly love the idea that all of them give a shit about whether Mancini's contact was paid through back channels. Half the squad hadn't kissed a girl in 2011, they don't give a shit.

Never felt more like singing the blues...

That said, why the television cunts froze the image on the scum end after Akanji's penno? It showed the customary fire drill, but they didn't show one second of the City end. Butthurts or some policy to not show the blues?
Then it shifted to rags going up the stairs, then our lads, and still not one second of our fans.

Glad all over after beating the scum with academy lads as the main performers.
ITV - disgraceful.

Anyone else have big issues on the M6? We had a 40 minute delay just before Hilton Park services where they took 3 lanes into one, to then have 2 lines of cones for 200 yards and then back to 3 lanes, 40 minutes for nothing. Then from south of Stafford all through Staffordshire and Cheshire 50mph limit yet there was very little traffic. Stupid cunts. Added an hour to our journey.

Thank Christ for that!
A more important result than many on here give credit. A lot of prior circling of the caravans to offset a possible loss. "Irrelevant", "meaningless" coping mechanism.
Clearly the players didn't think so, judging by their reactions and interviews.
A decent moral booster and better than losing 2 Wembley televised matches in quick succession to our hated rivals.
Doesn't mean it effects the season's outcome - we'll no shit Sherlock!
Impossible to quantify though - who's to say it didn't boost Arsenal's confidence last year? Easy to dismiss as meaningless, but who knows.
Matterface and McCoist decided that the match was certainly not a friendly when United were within touching distance of grabbing an underserved win. Buzzer senior would be brilliant in the studio but they won't have him. Give Buzzer junior a go......

It's the rags. Now some of our new fans might not understand why we hate them so.much but we do. Anybody who lived through their period of dominance and had to suffer those loudmouth cretins knows too. Never give them an inch, never give them any sympathy or pity not ever. If anyone is weakening here's a little reminder why.

Matterface was talking about Rashford 'getting back to being a 30-goal dynamo'. Since when has Rashford ever been a 30-goal dynamo? I think his highest ever Prem tally is 17. He seems to be a decent guy - heart in the right place and has achieved things with his campaigning. But coming up to 27, he has never scored the goals you'd expect a striker to.

Such a nonsense comment matches ITV's pathetic coverage/bias.

It went from being only a friendly to it’s an important pre season trophy back and forth a few times today
Hahahahaha it did indeed especially when the rags scored oh this will be twice they have beaten City at Wembley in big important games,Bernardo equalises this has been a good game for what is a pre-season friendly..
