I'd been saying all summer he should have been in the England midfield and he showed Mainoo how to play the role yesterday. Different class.

Also thought Bobb and Kova were class, the rest did about as I'd expect. Credit to Akanji for his penalty after his miss for the Swiss too.

The team played really well for the first 25mins and his driving runs into midfield and beyond were one of the main reasons.
His link up play with the other academy lads is really good.

He did in spells and really unlucky with his shot in the first half, he went missing at times though. I like him and hope he progresses during the season.
