President Trump

There is some evidence from polls that those people are being persuaded by Trump………..to vote Harris.
Indeed. And as far as Swift is concerned, he is almost begging her to endorse Harris at this point.

Which is, as his custom, a completely moronic strategy, as Swift could genuinely bring younger people that would otherwise not have voted to the polls for Harris and other democrats down the ticket.

And she’ll lose no one.

I have a feeling she eventually will, either way, but posting fake endorsements (that no actual swiftie would believe) is shooting his own foot.

Or ear, as it were.

Meh, the whole thing was a satire -- there's no such thing as Swifties for Trump -- but he re-used it apparently thinking it was real. Who knows really. Nothing will come of it.

Note really my friend - its 2024 and she is a powerful woman with opinions and she carries a hefty vote with her - plus she could in hard cash terms right now buy Trump twice over - I suspect his team have gone too far this time

The whole post was bits and pieces from a satire, clearly labeled as such. There is no such group (sorry Trumpers) and obviously he'll claim he reposted a satire whether he knew it was or not (sorry anti-Trumpers).

But will this incident embolden Ms. Swift to get involved? Maybe.

I tell you this -- I don't think Chappell Roan will have any hesitancy at all, and she is rapidly becoming a phenomenon (or a femininomenon as she might put it) at a Swift-type growth rate . . . .

Oh, something will come of it, just perhaps not in the courts. Well, not directly, anyway. ;-)

He is just the ultimate provacateur. It has served him well and he wont change. No such thing as bad press in Trump world, just an opportunity to make more noise
That’s beginning to change, it seems.

There is no such thing as bad publicity to Trump, but there is increasingly actually bad publicity for Trump.

He and most of his handlers are just too stupid (or blinded by their faith) to see it.

It goes further than that. It’s a culture that’s rooted in mocking and belittling others. It’s the absolute antithesis of what a civilised society should represent. Subhuman scum.
Yep in a civilised society people should support and help each other, not mock one another. In my very humble opinion. One of the only exceptions should be the Rags, of course.

This is happening in various forms (and under various guises) across the US, but particularly in the swing states. Republicans, as expected, are going to try to get Trump back in the White House by hook or by crook (emphasis on crook).

Republicans ask the Supreme Court to disenfranchise thousands of swing state voters

A new Supreme Court case could potentially hand Arizona to Donald Trump.

The Republican Party wants the Supreme Court to weigh in on a nauseatingly complicated voting rights case, which could potentially disenfranchise thousands of presidential voters in the swing state of Arizona. The case is known as Republican National Committee v. Mi Familia Vota.

The case involves an astoundingly convoluted system Arizona uses to register certain voters — one that emerged from 20 years of conflicting state and federal laws, plus seemingly endless litigation over those laws. Among other things, Republicans claim that several thousand Arizona voters should be allowed to vote only in congressional elections, and that they are barred from voting in state and local elections or voting for the president.

Georgia Election Board votes to add requirements before certification

A new Georgia election rule approved Monday creates additional steps before results can be certified, including a requirement to verify vote counts prior to the deadline for overseas and military ballots. The State Election Board voted 3-2 to finalize the rule, which was supported by three Republican board members whom Donald Trump praised during a recent Atlanta rally. Opponents of the rule said it could disenfranchise voters or create delays if county election boards refuse to certify elections as required by law.

The rule is the latest effort to change what it means to certify election results ahead of this year’s presidential election, following up on a requirement passed earlier this month that counties conduct an undefined “reasonable inquiry” before finalizing results. Voting rights groups predicted the new rules will cause chaos in November. “I can also just see us literally impacting the entire nation with this,” said Brittany Burns of Protect the Vote GA during a Capitol press conference. “This can actually impact the presidential election.”
