Just need the media to hype up reports of a last minute bid from the rags and then he's as good as home...
That ship sailed a while ago. Bernardo will be here till end of his contract then back to Benfica or maybe even a stop in MLS if he fancies it.Hopefully he can convince Bernardo that moving to Barca is not worth it
If we get him back, is he going to do that "MCFC Announce Gundogan!" thing like he did first time he signed for us? A bit cheesy I know but City and Gundo would be missing a trick if they didn't do it again
Think that ship has sailed. It will be a Benfica homecoming in a few years.Hopefully he can convince Bernardo that moving to Barca is not worth it
Not sure, when you are 2-0 down to villa and the title is on the line is this the guy you want to rely on?
He doesn’t need to be out of this world though. I am pretty sure he’d be rejoining on significantly reduced minutes. He just has to be fit and ready to contribute when needed until the end of the season. We don’t need anything spectacular from him. Just consistency and reliability.Never go back, that's what they say isn't it?
Who remembers players, of any club, having a brilliant 2nd stint? SWP was ok for us I seem to recall.
Pogba? Haha
I actually think there has been comments from Bernardo in the last couple of seasons that has made him realise that.Hopefully he can convince Bernardo that moving to Barca is not worth it
The mood music now seems to be the Bernardo ship has sailed and he / his mrs have realised how good they have it in Manchester?Hopefully he can convince Bernardo that moving to Barca is not worth it
With a 2 year training with Pep to eventually take over? Means Pep will be staying on - just hoping -:)He doesn’t need to be out of this world though. I think even the media have bored themselves with this one.The mood music now seems to be the Bernardo ship has sailed and he / his mrs have realised how good they have it in Manchester?
Not even a vague whiff of the usual Silva transfer circus this summer was there.
Yep if he comes back to us, I think he’s got a future in our coaching set upWith a 2 year training with Pep to eventually take over? Means Pep will be staying on - just hoping -:)
