How are folk getting so close to the officers to be able to assault them?
As soon as anyone looks like they are getting too close get the tazer out and warn once and fire if they don't back off.

They weren't indoors here but some open space where cars are parked. If the officers are approached by members of the public aggressively or charging at them, get the tazer out and don't even warn them.Maybe the attackers didn't casually stroll up to the front of the officers.
If people continue to believe the police are there to be punched at whenever they feel like it, there will be no police.
