Rodri - Players Tribune Article

Enjoyed that, thanks for sharing. PS There's a Rashford interview underneath it if anyone's interested ;-)

Can never be enough threads about the great man.

Top article - thanks for sharing & bringing to everyone's attention.

Every Blue needs to read this.

Rodders comes across as such a humble guy & fits our club even in this successful era like a glove.

Would love for him to stay with us until he retires, but after reading this I suspect the pull of his motherland he speaks so fondly off with nostalgia in this article will be too great.

A large amount of credit needs to go his folks in his upbringing & also to his 'missus' who seems to keep him grounded even back when they first met at uni.

Oh & the Gundo article linked next to this isn't a bad read either!

I thought the art of great sports writing was dead. Yet this article is beautifully written and captures Rodri’s personality precisely. He comes across as humble, intelligent, loyal and so much in love with football. He is the sort of man we would all like to meet and know. I had a little chuckle when he said the City fans had always supported him. Perhaps I had imagined a few on here, when he first came, saying he was far too slow and a bit lost in the PL.
Thanks to the (ghost) writer for a most enjoyable read.

There were certainly one or two around me! Though nowhere close the levels of Javi Garcia and Fernando.

Great piece from Rodri (and editing friend).
