Not to be Mr.Obvious here but the poor guy has crying for a rest and we did not sign a midfielder that could help him out.

It’s scientifically correct that ACL chances increase with fatigue and the poor guy has playing Carabao cup games too against league 1 oppositions while Kalvin and Nunes were warming the bench.

Rodders body was crying for some help. That appeal that players will go to union if no help is given by FIFA by Rodri was not in isolation and makes me think he was expecting the worst the way his body was giving up during the treble season and next.

He's just had 2 months off.

This isn't a fatigue issue, it's just bad luck.

People are so defeatist pep will find a way around it kova and gundo will have to fill the void. Remember when gundo had to fill in for fernandinho last 16 games of the season people threw in the towel. We won all 16 games I think and completed a domestic treble. We are a squad of world class players 1 player doesn't define our season.

Glad we brought Gundo back. And Kovacic is as good as he is (although he needs to figure out when to press and when to stay).

Pep is the best manager in the world and will find a way to work around it but I'd assume it may take a while. Probably Lewis and his energy somewhere in midfield to help with legs. Expect Stones/maybe Gvardiol in there at some point too.

Not overly worried, we have Kovacic, Gundo, and Stones who can all play that position, if you've no faith in Pep yet to have a plan then it is time to give up, we've lost the best Midfielder in the world but we won leagues with no striker, long injuries to major players before, KDB twice, Haaland missed 2.5 months last year, Aguero injuries and many more, get behind Pep and the lads , we'll be fine.
