Bought a couple of tickets today and was surprised by lack of choice for two together. Ended up high up in level 3 of East stand. Wouldn't be surprised if attendance was 45,000 'ish ?

It would be good to see them go far and give some the chance to shine. Hopefully they can then help the first team out with this utterly ridiculous game schedule.

Not many leagues have 2 domestic cups do they? With the possible extra CL games I'm not sure if the clubs will think it's worth keeping.

From an FA standpoint they want PL clubs to do well in CL since it gets the international eyes, they can't do that against teams in leagues with fewer games.

I agree but I don't really want to see Stones in this one. He cannot get injured. Kovacic too. Especially in a League Cup game that i think most of us would agree is less important.

Imo we play 2 out of 3 from gundo, Bernardo and kovacic in every game for the rest of the season so none of them can play in this game lol.

If we just throw the game I’d bet players like nunes and Mcatee would be gutted at getting even less minutes.

Do we know what the format for these games is? If its tied at end of regulation, do they go to pens? I really don't want to see Gundo, Kova either. Or Stones. Stones is super important now. We shouldn't risk him for an EFL cup game should we? He's injury prone anyway.

Can't find the game on TV. They have the Villa game and the Newcastle game but no City.

need to ger nunes ready to play with fitness and in the deeper role he played in lisbon, doku need a confidence game when he make actually pass someone and get a goal.
foden needs minutes, gundo and stones too as a long season ahead for them with the injuries already we need them fully match fit
