Beb not playing Savinho or Doku was a mistake. Without KDB and Rodri we are not the same team.We lack creativity. Gondu did not help, he missed a golden opportunity to create a chance for goal by playing selfish.

Embarrassing are these constant posts - people vent on match threads for all sorts of reasons, post what comes into their head at any given moment. They're not affidavits.
Some need to get over it
 
Tough game against a team set-up to make life difficult for City.

Newcastle, fast, physical aggressive, plenty of fouls (not all penalised).

Great goal from City. Thought Josko was Gundo.

City a tad unfortunate on their goal, which led to a bit of a rocky patch but City then retook control and perhaps should have scored again.
 
Good point all things considered. Think Savinho should have started we looked much more threatening when him and Phil came on. Ilkay didn't have a good game unfortunately. One of those where it was as much about how much we wanted to fight as play football and I think we matched them in that aspect despite some over aggressive tactics allowed as usual by the referee.

Shit goal to concede, Akanji and Walker both asleep, thought Eddy got a hand to it on first watch but that scouse rat managed to buy the penalty with his touch to take it wide, no complaints with the decision.

Shame that Bernardo volley at the end didn't go in, thought he had a good last 20 minutes playing deeper.
 
Sometimes you've got to take a hard win point away at a difficult ground. We can mumble and grumble all we want but that's what it is.

Gundo is a step behind, and Walker and Ederson won't be hushing any of the noises about them with that performance.

Grealish and Foden looked good. Savinho is a spectacular footballer, and Gvardiol impresses every time I see him.
 
Tough place to go to and they has a week to prepare for us.

We are without 2 of the best players in the world so any team would have a dip. With so many game and injuries Pep has to rotate

Pep said we would start slow the season slow and yet we are undefeated.

Im quite happy with things
 
Well-earned point away from home at Newcastle that it will be hard for anybody if they play like today.
We do not need to panic or point fingers so just move on and we have a big game in midweek in the champions league
