If somebody wants to go to every game I agree, and some normal S/C s should be available after the extension opens at least 4/5000.
If it’s a Matchday buyer that just wants the minimum 10 games then the £150 and buying the 10 tickets works out far cheaper than 10 match tickets and is great value.The issue is those buying it for all the games and seeing it as a normal S/C, when it should be seen more as targeted to Matchday buyers that don’t want to go to every game.

I think the relevant discussion point though in terms of the north stand expansion is that it is easier to create an atmosphere with fans who are going to be there the vast majority of games which is why having more season ticket holders would be beneficial. As well as the option to pick and choose games, flexi gold holders don’t have to sit in the same seat either.
The intention of the club to only release new season tickets as flexi golds is nothing but a £150 price increase on season tickets.
With no gold alternative offered, anyone wanting a season ticket will be forced to pay £150 extra for the privilege. Whether you want the flexi option or not, you will have to pay it.

Tim there’s no new season cards being made available. Flexi Gold is not a like for like replacement. The only thing that needs to happen is seasoncards to be reintroduced like it is at every other club in the prem.Or maybe people will get new season cards in expanded North Stand and they won’t contribute to the atmosphere. I heard about the number of tickets that get transferred from City Execs at a fans meeting IIRC. Try looking on the Facebook pages and X in the lead up to the Fulham game. This will be the minority of tickets getting transferred but you might get an idea of scale.

Because you have to pay £150 adult or £75 kids to even start the process of getting a ticket.So explain that with the focus on flexi golds

When it opened, the North Stand provided the best view I had ever seen at Maine Road with good sight lines and no pillars in the way.People always used to say especially my dad's generation that the steps at MR were shallower than uniteds so it was harder to see but the New North Stand was better iirc.

Unfortunately after the first year of operation, they put seats in. It did seem a strange approach. Either put the seats in from the start or retain the crash barriers for a few seasons.
I find that hard to believe given that the Main Stand and the Platt Lane End were all fully seated.
