Wrote about this yesterday. The pace of play is too much for them. They have to hang back in case of changes in possession because they can’t keep up. They can’t run the diagonals they used to because the game has changed speed and and tactics-wise.

I agree with you, but it almost looks like this ref is behind the play when united is in possession yet when Villa has the ball he is part of the rags back line.
