Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has spent around £600m since his arrival at the club in 2022.
Six of the outfield players he has brought to Old Trafford are on the bench today - Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Antony and Manuel Ugarte.
Their combined cost is £333m, including various add-ons.
That is a lot of money not to play.
Ten Hag signed three players who do make his starting line-up; Andre Onana, Noussair Mazraoui and Rasmus Hojlund.
