That just seems such a stupid route to go down though and heavily skewed towards benefitting the owners rather than the clubs themselves and it devalues the point entirely of it being about making clubs financially sustainable.
Id much rather see them say that any owner loan needs to be converted to equity. This does show the issue of the owners of the clubs themselves also effectively being the regulators.
Funniest thing is, the PL's 'win' is some eyes is because the APT rules were deemed okay to have in place. Completed ignoring that City never wanted to tear the basis down, just the ridiculous adaptations around FMV and the secrecy surrounding the decisions.

Its undeniable now…. Some blues should hang their heads in shame.It is incredible that the BBC online team has ignored the judgement summary which spells out in stark terms that the PL has acted illegally and unfairly. This can’t be an accident. This can only be bad faith.

@slbsn has put some decent stuff on his twitter page.
That excerpt is ridiculous and I'm not surprised City decided to do something about it. One of our sponsorships went from 'evidently above FMV' according to the PL, then they sought professional advice and were told that it was 'not above FMV'.
So basically they had no clue what FMV was but rejected it.
They are not fit to govern this league or these issues.
Was that by the company that the Dippers employ?

Wow have went through all the pages from 901,and have to say it’s a great day to be a City fan and what the club have shown what’s been essentially going on with these rules and the emails from the premier league to and from other clubs..
Just a shame sections of the media are reporting it as a minor win or premier league victory when this isn’t the case,it’s basically one last Hail Mary from cartel friendly media..
