Daft ****

You can understand why Neville has problems understanding how City have the income streams they make when his business ventures are failing. How are they managing not to make money when the swamp has over 70 odd thousand people turning up every other week and then the actual tourists who come in on non match days? Perhaps Mansour should buy it and turn it into a sister hotel to the one soon to be attached to the North stand.

Outside of the flimsy, transparent bubble that this below-par human being operates, there cannot be a more disliked figure from the English footballing world than Ratboy.
A multi-millionaire businessman preaching to the downtrodden lower classes, painting a picture of himself as shoulder to shoulder with the masses, a 'one of our own' Ricky-Tomlinson type champion of the proles, a martyr for the poor and the persecuted of these dark satanic mills.
Maybe they will erect a statue of him outside of the swamp. A tall, imposing figure striking a theatrical pose with his arm held aloft like a Lowry-esque Statue of Liberty, and a plaque with the words (directly stolen from Hancock's 'The Blood Donor') "He Gave So That Others Might Live" etched in copper plating.

When will people wake up to the fact that this is the man who put the C.U.N.T. in the word ****?

Love the Tony Hancock reference.. as you say, it can be definitely concluded by anyone who examines this herbert's track record in business dealings that for him there will be 'no badge'..!!

Just as he's buttering up Skier, labour and the "working people" to fund a gargantuan regeneration which, some may suggest, could provide a more suitable immediate and wider urban setting for a large hotel.
Organic growth. It's the 'nited way...

Does make me wonder (well not much) how that pile of bricks with all the publicity it & he gets and its location can lose so much money.

it's almost like a 'mini-me' business on UMS's doorstep.
Is it because of how often Old Trafford is "open"?

If you think about there's what 19 x PL Games, then possible up to half a dozen European games, same again for FA/EFL Cup games, Super League Grand Final, Soccer Aid (is that still there?) so rounding up potentially 40 events a season for a business that's open best part of 364 days a year.

I don't know the area that well but on a non-football day would people want to stay at this hotel, are there other things in the area that would need an overnight stay?

There’s only really the Lowry Theatre that people might stay around there. Maybe the occasional Warehouse Project attendee too.

It’s heavily themed around the rags though, so that would put a fair few fans of other clubs off.

It’s too fat out of the city centre to be used much by businesses.

Bellend was at the hacienda book launch on Wednesday looking miserable, on the plus side Paul lake was there to ease the pain total gentleman even got a photo with him.. Not rat face.
Yes i imagine Gary Rat only smiles for the Sly cameras and shows his true shitty colours away from them
