Even in the first half, I felt that we played great. Sparta Is a very solid team that defended exceptionally well. They thrashed Salzburg at home and got a draw away at a strong Stuttgart team. It felt like it was going to be one of those games that we’d take advantage of when they tired.

I thought Savinho and Foden played great; I desperately want a goal to get the monkey off his back for the former. Shoutout to Nunes and Lewis as well. It feels like Haaland needed those goals as well. I’m still not sure how he scored that first one.

Really pleased for Nunes. He's taken some absolute pelters on here but he looked really good on the left and his work rate was excellent. 1 goal 2 assists and won a penalty

It was an odd game. Very dull 1st half after the early goal. 2nd half was better...
