To think that the Dems are liberal or left is so way off the mark and just repeats the MAGA mantra.
The Dems are more like Tories in the UK with MAGA being UKIP. Which explains the Trump/Farage bromance.

And as for the poster who thinks that Trump answers questions can just go back to the National Black Journalists event, the Bloomberg event and many others. Once again its a always a case of falsehood followed by diversion and usually followed by an insult.

I wonder has he finally answered the question as to whether Melanie was lawfully resident when they got together or sorted his healthcare policy yet.

So allowing the trans agenda to be pushed in middle schools, Kamala not denying the fact she will offer sex charges to prisoners and claiming that voter ID is racist because they and their more radical voters believe they can't possibly fathom it.

He won’t win. Ignore the faked and biassed polls and look at what is happening on the ground. Harris rally in Texas was the biggest political turn out ever. Red Texas!
Just get them to vote and you never know.

4 years ago Trump felt like a spent force. His handling of covid was a shit show and it ultimately forced people in to two camps, the anti vax anti science types and the every one else. Biden did not run a great campaign but he stuck to covid guidelines. Trump just looked done with the job. And the whole thing played out against the backdrop of lockdowns.

This time he's very different. The most significant moments that defined trump's presidency happened after he lost office. And covid has been forgotten.

It's why it's so difficult to call.

Four years ago Trump was significantly more lucid and coherent. The evidence is there for all to see. That’s why, to me, it’s a mystery why it’s so difficult to call.

And Project 2025.
And Trump's ramped up fascist rhetoric.
Etc.

Beats me why it's close at all. If anything, you'd think that 2024 was going to be a slam dunk, massive blue wave, easy victory for Harris.

I understand all the arguments around the power of a cult etc, but notwithstanding that it’s truly astonishing that in a mature democracy of over 300 million people this man, after all he’s done and said, is even within an outside chance of securing power.

It’s genuinely a complete mystery to me as the evidence of his lack of fitness for office, something that will increase not decrease with the effluxion of time, is there for any rational person to see.

It’s completely undeniable.
