I hope their misery is compounded again and again, not to totally destroy them, but for them to carry on limping from one bad experience to another.

TBF improving from 14th isn’t too hard. But I have thought and continue to think the problem is the players. You can’t threaten a guy you paid a bundle to with bench time as punishment for not giving his all if you’ve not a reasonable replacement unless you are willing to lose for awhile. And they can’t/arent. So they are absolutely stuck with this shower they have — old, slow, uncaring, undisciplined, petulant, not especially talented — every player, every position is some or all of these. They have become the very thing they claimed City were — a side of mercenaries.

It's the money they've spunked in all those bang average Dutch players too. Crackers.
