Ten Hag sacked! (P 416)

Just a word to those that remained steadfast, loyal and true to the cause on the ‘Save Our Poundland Pep’ thread.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for fighting the good fight to the very last moment. You know who you are, and your tireless efforts have not been unrecognised.

So keep your chins up, and it’s onto the Save Our Waistcoat thread in the next few weeks!

And between them they averaged more trophies per season at the swamp than the rags averaged before the GPC.
The fuckwits, and their equally fuckwitted cheerleaders in the media, seem to believe the GPC's level of success was normal for the club, but it was nothing like they'd experienced in the past. We're seeing something similar with Pep, the Tarquins saw it with Wenger, but we've the sense to expect a slight drop-off in trophies when he leaves.
With respect, what has that got to do with the point I was making?

I always smilevwhen i think back to rags mocking us because we sacked our managers often .'we stick by ours' and 'we have class' just because they struck lucky with one manager! A lit of tgem are soo thick

How does this story get more media attention than ballon winner ?

This club & media show zero respect to football. They announce it on same day as ballon winner announced or maybe because little city winning again just keeps showing them up

Now that Ten Hag is gone, I am honestly shocked at how...well.. shocking he was. No real play style implemented, player profile in recruitment all over the place, etc. No real belief in self when it comes to playing with conviction. It was truly a pathetic failure.
He came in with a clear style of play but ditched it as soon as he realised the players weren't up to it. God knows what the alternative he came up with was, but he was obviously told to prioritise short-term results over long-term development. The predictable result is that they've wasted another two and half years to go backwards. If these deluded dickheads could just accept that the title (and even Champions League football) is beyond them for a few years, they might actually start to make some progress.

Sad cafe is getting very giddy over someone they didn't know walked the earth 3 days ago . Amorim, in typical scum fashion is being built into this mythical football god by "fans"who are just manifesting their hopes onto someone who may be a good manager didn't they do the same with Ten Bob ?

Rinse & repeat

Very disrespectful hatchet piece by Luckhurst in the MEN. Complete word salad as well.
Strange isn't it, they are treating him like a criminal hiding in a car etc.Quite nasty. Also odd I watched quite a bit of their game v Brentford last week hoping for a laugh and must have heard the word brilliant about 20 times, in fact almost every time one red shirt passed to another. So just goes to show.

It doesn't matter who they get in, that squad is dog shit
Yep. For some utterly bizarre reason the club handed over millions and millions to Ten-Bob and he blew the lot on a string of mediocre (mostly Dutch) players that would struggle in our Championship. Suicide!

The man must have been deranged for the sheer staggering amount of money he wasted on the likes of Casemiro. A portly, stubby little man with all the footballing awareness of Chernobyl's head of Safety and Security. Caught out of position so many times because he obviously didn't know what he was supposed to be doing, and clearly unfit for the rigours of professional football in general.
The rest of the first-team regulars were no better. Most of them seemed to be more concerned about how their hair will look on MotD tonight. Leaning against the hoarding and posing like Hollywood divas at the Oscars.

And to crown his own incompetence and really put the cherry on the cake, he continued to pick Slabhead! Un-fucking-believable, Jeff. A central defender who sometimes likes to wander casually along the right wing to see if anything's happening over there, or caught hanging around the opponent's penalty area while his own is under siege from attackers. FFS! I'm convinced if he is still playing at the rags this time next year his lack of positioning will have become so bad that if they are playing at the swamp, Slabhead would be busy admiring the panorama at Machu Picchu.

Like complete amateurs, that vile club.

Why would Amorin resign from Sporting who are top of the table and in the champions league to work at the car crash that is the rags? Maybe he's appointed for next season but that leaves them with Van Horseface who won't have a clue.
We have nothing to be worried about, they're just 10 years in to their equivalent Swales/Lee era.
