Great shout,Francis made the ground come alive and was a magnificent player , for me Tommy Hutchinson a close second, what a player he was and what an incredible period he had with us.Trevor Francis.
I think Barry Conlan was possibly the worst player I have ever seen in a city shirt, and to be honest that is quite a long list :-)Barry Conlan??
Tommy H and king Trev great shouts..Quinny was great for us and zreidy. Paul Lake maybe..sad early end.. Bernabia and Kinky for fun..between this period we had some decent season'sGreat shout,Francis made the ground come alive and was a magnificent player , for me Tommy Hutchinson a close second, what a player he was and what an incredible period he had with us.

You were one of the 6,000 they used to get for league games back then?I was at Chelsea in 1983.
Never had the chance to properly see or appreciate how good he was for us - but obviously from this and other responses, the concensus seems to be - another level.Trevor Francis.
He was something else Blue. Got off to a flier at Stoke then sadly had a injury plagued season.Never had the chance to properly see or appreciate how good he was for us - but obviously from this and other responses, the concensus seems to be - another level.
He was sheer class when fit, that was the issue, the slightest niggle he did not play which pissed off Swales because Francis would add another 5k to the gate if he was playing.Never had the chance to properly see or appreciate how good he was for us - but obviously from this and other responses, the concensus seems to be - another level.
Paul Stewart always gets overlooked.
51 games, 26 goals.
Made a huge impact when he came.
Wasnt to enthused when we signed him from the Championship when he was 30+ but he proved me wrong and had a good spell with us including very productive 1st half on 94/5 season...them we swapped him for Creaney AND cash!Paul Walsh was a superb little player for us, Rosler got all the headlines but the little fella was the brains and the footballer.
