Overall, have we seen anything showing Harris in the lead? Most polls and betting have Trump in front but who can trust these markets.

We have actual vote data from early voting. Not who they have voted for but you have the details re male / female and if they are registered dem or gop.

The data confirms high turnout vs 2020 and more women are voting. Dems are out voting gop but that is a consistent trend with the early vote. The gop vote, whilst behind, is actually up on prior years. However, given the push by the Harris campaign to target female gop voters (the Hayley vote, the circa 20% of GOP registered voters that backed Hayley or someone else in the primary) It's plausible that many of these votes are Harris votes.

Seems very unlikely unless the voting is much more one-sided than anticipated.
Last time, it took until the Saturday before it was clear.

Voting in somewhere like Nevada won't close until about 1 am UK time.

You will get the overall vibes from the various states as it comes in but 40ish of the 50 are going to go with prior form.

The winner won't be known until someone gets 270 and that won't be on the night. It might not even be the next day as the gop will try to delay.

Unless there is a huge swing...

Trump is still favourite with the bookies but the gap is closing.
Could both be evens by Tuesday.
 
The political adverts during the Yank football are wild. Seems to be pushing an abortion v trans/gender narrative. The right certainly seem more aggressive

But, again, “both sides are the same”.

And before anyone says “they’re just trolling you flappers”, that is not how this rhetoric works and it absolutely isn’t the sole intention behind it.

Yes, part of it is to “own the libs” and get them angry. But that is only one part of it.

Trump and other MAGA surrogates have and continue to use fascist “slowly ramp up violent rhetoric” tactics and lone wolf whistle language, which is intended to give whoever is saying it “plausible deniability” (obfuscating their complicity) whilst still encouraging others to take matters in to their own hands and “do what must be done”.

Those ignoring this very deliberate, increasingly violent and dangerous language are complicit in it.
