We fucking did :( after a brilliant 1st half it's hurt me (sounds daft) watching that 2nd half collapse.

Lets face facts this is not down purely to Rodri being out as some claim. As has been demonstrated since late last season teams with pace just run by us. Walker used to bail us out but he's done.
Pep should have recognised the decline in our squad and the ability to hold the ball, defend and score goals.
We hold the ball when our opponents don't want it so our possession is meaningless. We need multiple chances to convert one goal. As soon as we lose possession we get screwed tfor pace and strength and concede.

YES, City are struggling and you know what, They need you more than ever right now, GET behind the players, stick together, bring the noise, be the 12th man,

He contributed zero tonight. Looked out of his depth against average defenders and never looked to get involved in the second half.

And the rest of the team?
Foden and Nunes who were great first half also did next to fuck all the second half.
Bernardo the same.
The only one who looked a threat second half was Savinho and his end product was crap.
The teams creativity, pace, movement, pressing and even our passing has been shocking since the first international break.

I think Akanji was caught in two minds trying to protect the kid and it affected his game

You just can't chuck a kid whose never even played a full game into a match like that

I think the injuries may explain some of the issues.

You cant blame injuries for us being totally dogshit up front. Only Grealish is out, Kev back but looked rusty and will take him a run of games but worrying, other than that, this is what we are left with. Doku/Grealish/Nunes/Savinho/Silva - A complete lack of a emd product let aline goals. And 1 striker only who is missing chance after chance atm.

One of the main issues this year is we seem to face at least 2 one on ones per game with the keeper which we can’t seem to eradicate. It’s one of the lowest we have all felt for sometime but it’s just a blip and we’ll be back, i have every faith in our wonderful owners and management team to make sure of that.

With the release of so many young players there will always be a case of some coming back to bite you.

We are seeing that with players like Palmer, Lavia and Roger’s presently, that could have helped at the moment

Unfortunately we have no depth to cover the injuries to key players.

In addition we have been pretty average all season and I think it’s a perfect storm with a drop off after 4 great seasons and the amount of injuries

We need to get a defensive midfield player that can play alongside Kovacic in January regardless of the injured players coming back

For the time being I would like to see Nunes alongside Kovacic , Foden needs to moved to the wide position, we need to get an extra body in midfield who can anticipate and defend counterattacks

Agreed, the game is about how much space can we create between their defence and goalie...even sucker teams in the fake mis controls etc...you see this clever tactic happening more often..Spurs do that well under Ange...brave ..looks clumsy..but so clever - need power and pace though to capitalise- dont really need great players - as you said.. new game now
