I can't remember the scientific term given for spotting one? There was research done that proved a human could tell something that tried to replicate being human.

I thought it was A.I. when I saw it.

But who knows these days.

I thought it was AI purely based on the fact that surely he can't be that stupid. But looking at it again, if it's AI, it's ridiculously well done. AI wouldn't put things in like the noise from the person handling the phone, and I've not seen a deep fake that would replicate the handheld, zooming in and out, and all of that other guff.

Look how bad this Tom Cruise deep fake (after the Morgan Freeman one) is at simulating the natural camera movement of someone shooting handheld, for example.



It's doing the sort of things that a real cameraman would only do if he wasn't paying attention. It's all too smooth.

So as an utter non-expert, I think I'm gonna call bullshit on the AI claim.
