David Coote | Charged with making indecent video of a child (p57)

Honestly don't see the fuss.

He likes to do coke, so do thousands of others.
He doesn't like sime people he has to work with and thinks some are cunts because of their behaviour, don't we all.
His record as a ref against liverpool isnt good or bad just the usual.

The only real thing some could say were not acceptable in this day and age is referencing Klopps nationality.

The witch hunt is quite pathetic imho.

And surely a genuine risk to the guys wellbeing. He’s been daft getting videoed but what you say is quite right.

The Sun will embellish the story, add outright lies knowing he’s in no position to challenge.

& deep down loads of dippers will be reading it cos they cater more for them than us.

And if you are going to do all this as a PL referee then under no circumstances do you allow someone to video you while saying or doing it. Or, even worse, video yourself.

Like it or not, the video is grounds for coercion. Anyone with that video has the means to coerce Coote to influence a match and that’s any match where someone has an investment in the outcome. Including ours.

PGMOL likely knew the video existed as they took Coote off Klopp matches, but still allowed a potentially compromised ref to officiate. They will be in the dock for covering up a potentially compromised ref, while players face life time bans for fixing the timing of yellow cards.

I don’t see this ending well.

this. he’ll end up having to feign some ‘problem’ and invent some reason he started doing it and then ‘rehabilitate’ himself and get plaudits for doing so.

see also all the dickhead footballers like danny simpson, paul merson, ruddock who now go on podcasts talking about fucking mental health when they were just grade A wankers and abusive to people around them.
