We bought Phillips and Nunes who sadly have on the whole been wank.
I really can’t see how Pep thought any of them were good enough. Particularly Phillips, maybe I am being too harsh on Nunes because he has more ability but he doesn’t have the right qualities that fit this specialised position.

Spurs are so shit too!

Haaland offering nothing & not his fault. Take him off & get a midfielder on.

Not sure what we can do with walker, stones, Rico & Gundy to be honest

I’m just seeing this season as a transitional one & nothing else
Yeah but you can only introduce 2 max 3 players we need a good tbh.. Taxi for Taxi!

Stone is winding us up.

If Manchester City can get one back here, they will fancy their chances.

Savinho is dangerous on their left and with Josko Gvardiol backing him up, that feels like an area they can exploit.

But equally, they lack cover in front of their defence, so are vulnerable to the counter-attack.

That has been a fabulous and fascinating game so far. I doubt either manager is going to change their philosophy.

Got to bring Ake on, move Stones into midfield, get Foden playing a bit deeper as well to help the midfield out

Positive is we are still creating decent chances.

Big negative for me is can Pep please stop this Rico playmaker/main part of our midfield experiment - the way he tracks back when we lose the ball is so bad and so slow it's painful - he's supposed to be the legs for our aging players & he adds nothing creativity wise. We need to get Jack and Kev on early and go for it because with our current midfield there is no doubt they will score again.
