Commentators kept saying who saw that coming. Well I did and especially once saw the midfield set up. So many terrible performances against a team with pace. Walker, gundog, Bernie, savinho, gvardiol, all terrible. A team can carry one passenger maybe but not five. I can’t remember a time when we were this brittle. Need to go back to Alan Ball era when we were this easy to beat.
I’m really pleased Pep is staying on because we need a massive rebuild as currently this team looks spent and we got away with it in the early part of the season.

We actually started the season well without him, so the idea we can't win without him is silly.

Of course he's a huge loss, but it's just as much to do with some players looking done at this level

Injury prone and old players in crucial areas for Peps tactics

No threat if Haaland doesn’t play at his best

Midfield slow and lethargic

No solution to counter attacks.

Rodri is the most vital part of the system , without him the system doesn’t work

That's not being dramatic. Usually we can catch up but not with this team. The likes of Bernado and Gundo look on the slide and offer nothing, Walker too. They need to be moved on.

KDB isn't likely to stay consistently fit. Then add in the fact we're missing the best player in the world.

Even when the likes of Foden find some form, its not gonna be enough. Too many holes in the team.

Let's just see what we can do until the end of the season and look towards rebuilding the team

I've been saying a while that whilst we have brought in some excellent individuals like Gvardiol, I don't think we've really been on the ball on planning for the inevitably of players slowing down and it's showing..

Ah well, we'll be back with new hunger. Might be a frustrating watch until then.

massively lacking Dias’ organisation but Pep has to now try something else in central midfield (Nunes/OReally) until January and RESPECT THE OPPOSITION.

Drop a forward and play Bernie and Grealish tucked in on and swamp the midfield if you have to. play dirty and get a draw at anfield if you can

I can handle a slump but it feels like we're in free fall from the summit of Everest right now. Totally uncharacteristic of us but I have faith that Pep can soon get us climbing to the top again. We may have to suffer more defeats though.

I admire your enthusiasm but can't see us finishing top. I'll happily take top 4 though.

We have better players than how we have performed, we have a better manager than how he has performed, we have lost 5 in a row with the same fucking flaws exposed each game. If it was 1 or 2, fine, but this is literally trying the same thing each time and expecting a better outcome.
