How many players do we need?

Seven or eight I would say.

We also need a renewed hunger and focus. Right through the club in fact.

Soriano talking this week about creating TV programmes for kids, just before we get tonked by a mid-table side because we’ve bought poorly and held onto players too long. Sums up where we are now unfortunately.

Everyone needs a kick up the arse and a fair few need moving on.

Genuinely felt we'd be bang at it today. Started well, and then the usual shite of missed chances and concede on the counter. That was a terrible capitulation and I've no idea what Pep does to arrest this slide.

Too many players way off it, and others look to have aged 10 years in the last couple of months.

Bernard and Gundogan in particular. Lewis is trying but he's all over the place. Walker is playing like he's been up Piccadilly Gardens with the smackheads on some bad gear.

I could go on but can't be fucking arsed.

Full of half wits on here who blurt shit out about shit support when i would say most have us have been here since the dark days and are allowed to moan without some burk blurting out utter nonsense like langley blue does to make himself look a massive blue
 
The match day thread was a joy to behold.

I’m not sure what exactly I’ve just watched, but Pep watched it too, and now he has to earn his corn.

He has to cone up with a way to blend an ageing but still very talented squad.

No idea how he’s going to do that because we look shot, but I’m prepared to bet we will be there or thereabouts end of season, the man’s a genius.

As a wise man said earlier, this run and we are still second.

It was good for 10mins then they scored and we folded like a cheap suit. No confidence at all. We knew we couldn’t defend and knew we wouldnt score.

We are a team in crisis right now. Stop playing players on past glories. Gundo and walker are finished. Completely finished.

Haaland was a disgrace today, awful game and no pressing and sulking
 
Huge rebuild necessary if you offered top 4 now I’d take it. The club have allowed the squad to get in this state by the lack of spending in the market. Worrying times. Players don’t look interested

We just can’t defend
Gvardiol is playing like a winger but can’t defend to save his life
He needs resting
Hopefully Ake can stay fit and play there
Walker simply dreadful today
His time is up with us
Lewis does nothing offensively and not a lot more defensively
Thought Gundo did ok but seems to be getting stick left right and centre…at least he tries
KDB looked good on the positive side
We desperately need him fit
Onward and hopefully upwards
 
We could win next week and go 5 points behind, with renewed momentum. If we lose and go 11 behind that would surely be the end of the league (I'm assuming the dippers win tomorrow)
 
I don’t think one or two windows fixes it either. What happened to our recruitment the last few years…we used to buy the very best now we shop at Poundland every other transfer.
