We have young players on the bench who would put a shift in, I’d honestly start there. Why can’t Grealish play in the middle? Gundo wasn’t brought back to play 2/3 games a week and it showing. Mcatee can’t get a look in, I’d give him a go. Jacob Wright is another. They aren’t going to do any worse.

We can change our pattern of play. We play so high and commit too many forward whilst doing absolutely nothing with the ball. We should currently just focus on being hard to beat.

hard to see this is getting significantly better with the form so low and quite a few injured players which list will grown ever match...
and the ones coming back from injuries have a form like shit.

we have Liverpool away, Palace away, Villa away and rags at home in our next 5 PL games. is it like 4-5 points maximum? with this form not even that.

As Pep has been unable to solve the Rodri sized hole in the middle of the pitch, we need to dispense with the attacking wingers and flood the pitch with midfielders who can retain possession and defend when we don't have the ball.

The three between them Foden, and then I'm stuck. Maybe we have to play Savinho and Doku to allow Bernardo to play inside. But that's not working. Frankly it's a mess.

Think that's what Pep has been hoping Kovacic, Gundogan, Lewis and Bernardo would provide but hasn't been dissuaded by performances & results. We need players who can win the ball, track runners and then pass it over a short distance to more creative players.

I’d argue it’s on Txiki. Or at least the recruitment in general as opposed to blaming it on one guy. The signings have been criminally poor in central midfield which is the most important area of a Pep side.

No one is saying that.....people are saying that some players are coming t the end of their time....its obvious...Gundo..just cant run anymore.....KDB struggling for fitness is clear as a whistle. ....walker has lost 2 yds of pace and is regularly getting beaten on the outside and making mistakes....Stones keeps getting injured....

They aint shit - but they are struggling and have been since the start of the season where the first set of results were deceiving.....our performances have been very weak and we just dont have the physicality any more.....

There was a moment in the second half when Neville referred to our previous side which had Aguero, Sterling, Sane, David Silva, peak KDB and Fernandinho. Everyone of those players would have started for every other PL side.

Compare that to now and I think only Haaland and Rodri are dead certs for every other PL side. I think that shows the drop in quality that we currently have.

I know stats are not everything but we have too many passengers in this current side. Grealish, Savinho, Doku, Bernardo and Gundogan will be lucky to get 10 goals and 10 assists between them in the PL this season.
