Mind bendingly lightweight. Muscled off the ball incessantly, gives the ball away incessantly, and an absolute fanny.
Only 20 years old though and having to adapt to life in the toughest, physically and mentally, league in the world, so I’ll happily cut him some slack, but nowhere near good enough for us at the moment

Mahrez was playing in the French second division before Leicester took a punt on him at 23.

We’re lacking 2 established wingers and relying on youth in Savinho and Doku. They’ll be inconsistent.

Curious as to what you would expect of a regular starting winger at City?

I'd expect a £30m signing to show some signs, and improve in his first season. Nothing more than that really.

There's plenty to like about the way he plays.

Just need more end product from him.

We can say he's young but it could also be said that if you're being picked to start for Man City, it's because you're expected to deliver, no matter your age.

Just needs to work on final product everything else is solid. Works hard(more tackles than Bernie for example), creating plenty of chances, always willing to get at full back, is very fast. Gets himself into dangerous positions consistently, just need that shooting to click...He's better than Doku

Had a decent start to his City career but the issue is he is 20 playing in the Premiership for the first time at a club with totally different expectations. Sane, Rodri, Bernardo etc all took time to adapt to this, our issue is he should be part of the supporting cast not the player we are reliant upon.

He is probably trying too hard in that aspect. It is his first season and with Bobb's and Doku's injuries we can't rotate so can't really give him a little slack. He has shown promise so it not all bad.
