this season it’s true. Currently we have Gundogan who has been shocking, when we have wright and Oreily on the bench - why not just play one of them.

Yep it is Pep’s responsibility which is why he’s having to use as many experienced players as possible. In an ideal world he’d play Mcatee in a team of experienced players round him but at moment not possible

I agree but several senior players aren't match fit or on form so it makes sense to Try out McAtee. He's young eager and fresh as a daisy but inexperienced. And the only way to get experience is to be given starts and Pep hasn't given him an opportunity so far. I'm disappointed he's not starting tonight.

I think that's a bit ingenious considering he's been playing all season and the other youth players are not considered 1st team players

He’s going in January in my opinion. He’s not been given a chance at all, even with injuries.

Why oh why did we let Alvarez go. Watching him play for Athletico Madrid scoring 2 goals working his socks off. Pep could have found a place regularly in the team for him. Even the 80m profit becomes insignificant when we will possibly pay a similar amount to sign an inferior player.

I hope Echeverri is given a chance to shine.
