Sorry for not wanting to reward incredibly poor form from someone, how silly of me
I thought this terrible run would test the happiest of happy clappers, but it seems not!

Some of them sit between optimistic and delusional.

The reality is plain to see that the last 6 games have been very very poor defensively. And our general play overall in most games this season is off the scale to what we are used to seeing.

If this was United, Arsenal or Liverpool on the same run we would be laughing our bollox off at them!!!

Tbh mate, it sounds like you're the one who has thrown in the towel.

People on here need to get behind the team.

We're having a bad patch and we're still second.
Well said. Too early to be hoisting the white flag. What's that old saying; "The darkest hour is just before the dawn". Now, granted; we are, as Bernie said a week or so back, in a dark place right now. But I have to believe that we'll improve. Otherwise, why bother supporting them? If we can somehow pull off (Oo-err) a win at the TMM mob (unlikely though it seems right now), or even a draw, things will look so much better.

I’m hoping the players and management are more optimistic than us supporters otherwise we’re truly done for. Everton and the rags are crap and yet their following won’t believe the dips will muller them when they play. Positivity breeds confidence. Doom and gloom breeds defeat. Pep might surprise us all and ditch our suicidal high line on Sunday and get our season back on track. Here’s hoping that the only time we see Mo Salad kiss the Anfield turf is when he is dumped there by our rejuvenated defenders!

Theirs was another post in a growing number of posts that are just quite unbelievably piss poor.

Imagine enjoying, revelling, buzzing and pretty much not believing what’s been given to us this period of Pep, the last 4 years especially, and then coming out with the drivel that’s being put on here because the inevitable slump has happened?

I know football fans are fickle, but fuck me some of it is baying comprehension. Pep has thrown in the towel. Just wow.

I think the best we can hope for on Sunday is avoiding humiliation

There's not a hope in hell the team that played last night has got it in them to go there and get something

We have missed Dias a lot, for his leadership qualities.
This will be a "back to the walls" job on Sunday.
Give him the captain's armbands for this match (even if Walker is selected) as we need a strong, vociferous leader to galvanise the team...
The time has come
Don’t hold back

If Sutcliffe gets dumped on the turf it will be a penalty, guaranteed.

According to Henry Winter, Ruben had played 13 games this season and hadn’t lost until he went off injured against Tottenham. Our subsequent results speak for themselves.

I know many on here have written off our chances this weekend, but if Father Ruben returns and Kev starts, I don’t think we will embarrass ourselves.

Just a question but is it the belief that fans who are critical (at this point it's following 5/6 losses and snatching a draw from a 3-0 lead) can't also get behind the team when it matters? Eg not in a forum that doesn't impact the players in the slightest?

Kidna depends who's fit really, Is Dias back? can Ake go again? Will Stones be back?

I would say pack the midfield but I genuinely don't know how we do that.... our midfield is so weak I don't know any who are guaranteed starters

Think we need to be ready to sit back and counter, this control rubbish isn't gonna work they will literally tear us apart

I'd like to see a strong back 4 of centre backs, can't have Rico or Walker there they both aren't up to the task

Akanji-Dias-Ake-Gvardiol

Knowing out luck those players won't even be fit

Would beg for a draw

Maybe just maybe the ref wont side with them as much this year because he might have a little pity for us for how poor we've become.

i know, I know the reality will be incoming sending off for us, penalty and an offside goal for them.
Spitty's cock in Neville's mouth and Micha telling the Sly audience he never liked being at City after the game

Probably a game for Ortega this

———————————————James
Delph Fernandinho DeJong Barry Demichellis Vieiera YaYa
Ake Dias DIstin Van Buyten Hendry Dunne Ajanji Zabaleta
———————————————Ortega
