Apart from a nailed on defeat I predict a red card for one of our players.

Somebody is bound to loose their cool as we get taken apart.

The injuries haven’t helped but the players have completely lost the ability to play as a team. What has happened to them since the end of the PL last season? (Wank in the FA Cup final don’t forget).

I was born in 1957, 67 years ago, and since then, City have won at Anfield in the league just 3 times. 1981, 2003, and 2021.

I'm not expecting anything other than our usual result. A loss, and a heavy one.
I was at Anfield in August 1969 - we were leading 2-1 with minutes to play. Needlessly conceded a corner - they equalised from it and then Roger Hunt (change the first surname letter if you want) scored their third. I was with my workmate - a Liverpool fan who admitted they fluked it.

Are the bookies taking odds on the number of goals they could score - 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7......................................?

I shall be getting up regardless of my fears; my wife will sleepily say, "Do you really want to know" and pull the covers over her head to keep out my rather loud comments

If the players that were in training this week are fit, assuming that since they are in training. My 11 would be:

Ederson
Walker Dias Akanji Ake
Gundogan
Foden KDB
Savinho Grealish
Haaland

Play the back four as a straight 4. Don't bring anyone into midfield. Let Gundogan and Foden try to manage it. Absorb pressure and attack when needed. A 0-0 draw would be ideal and, at this point, would shock the world. lol

We don't do ugly draws. It isn't in Pep's set up or what has made him successful (although overall quality of the players at his disposal does help with that)

We kind of do - it was pretty much our away tactic in the CL winning campaign.

The midfield would be outworked, outfought & overrun. In the 1st half, Gundo twice was caught on the ball in dangerous areas when pressed and he can't track back.
