Camavinga is class though. He’d be the guy to sort our midfield. Valverde wouldn't be too bad either.

I’d take a draw anything else is a huge bonus,but let’s not kid ourselves we are in the shit at the moment and if the shoe was on the other foot I’d be looking City to go full throttle from the first minute which the red scousers will do,
As it stands we'd face Club Brugge in the playoff round.

Real quite poor, Arda Guler particularly decision making off today (and execution mostly as well).

You'd face a team who finished 1-8 I believe.
So harder but again still got teams in there that if we got our shit together we should walk it, Monaco, Dortmund etc...
Top 8 aren't going to be thrilled that they'll probably face Real Madrid, Bayern and City too.
I think given the whole seedings there will be no more easy draws to the final.

Nah we're on 8 points which I believe based on simulations is like borderline qualified already.

Yeah, it’ll be an interesting trade off for some teams. Rest players in some of the first 8 games and risk 2 extra games or go full out to guarantee 2 fewer games.
Unless your players forget how to play football of course!

Plus the PSG and Brugges games are in January when we should hopefully have more players
That's the interesting bit though.
Imagine winning your 8 group games, topping the league but Real Madrid have been dicking around for 8 games and you end up getting them in the last 16, once the proper knockout football begins.
That's why I don't really see any value in the take the 8 games serious to finish top 8. Better of course but not sold on it being the be all and end all.
