Favourite Comedian

She's a product of 'political correctness', a disabled comedian booked to 'tick s box', like the young disabled lad who won BGT a few years ago, and the autistic lad with ticks who just got to the final of BGT.
Personally, I don't find Rosie particularly funny, but she will have an audience that does. I can say exactly the same about Ben Elton - in my opinion, the least funny 'comedian' I've ever seen. It takes all sorts.

It's entertainment for the masses. That's why we have a selection of channels and an off switch.
Ive seen Ben Elton live and my sides hurt, he was brilliant

As I said... it takes all sorts!
Ive seen the joke thread. Youre a punchline kind of bloke. Some comics are like that and they are great too. Im not saying Ben Elton is the best comedian or my favourite, he is not. He was great to listen to and hear his woven ramblings and thoughts and stories and how they came together thats all.

Anyway, I like Bill Burr and god rest him Sean Lock, he was my favourite

The British public voted Mrs Brown's Boys the best comedy six times at the National Television Awards. That's who we're dealing with here.

Weirdly I have never voted for any show ever and don't know anyone who has, it's a bit like the SPOTY, I don't know anyone who votes for it.

It's like they make this shit up.

Mrs Brown's boys used to sell out theatres a few years ago.
Could never understand why he / she was so popular but I see that the show is on tv again this Xmas and New year

Norman Wisdom, Tommy Cooper, Freddie Starr, most of the comedians on the tv show, Dave Allen, Billy Connelly, Phil Cool, but the masters for me was Morecambe and Wise. Not keen on any of todays so called comedians

For me it was Jasper Carrott, but generations have different senses of humour, I can’t see anyone apart from Bill Bailey that makes me laugh like he did.
Jasper in the days of James Stannage was genius.
Sadly when he went mainstream his material went down hill.

Just watched her on Taskmaster and she's absolutely hilarious. Not going to lie I struggle with her on panel shows sometimes, her dyspraxia does make some forms of comedy difficult and panel shows are probably the worst for that because so much of it is about quick line delivery.

But Taskmaster showed she's brilliantly funny.
No surprise you've posted that

As you mentioned Phil Cool, I saw this yesterday, hope you like it.
