Players you didn’t realise how good they were or appreciated them until they left.

Recently

Javi Garcia, once settled started to perform butcwill always be tarred with his settling in period.
Jerome Boeteng, if not for a stewardess trolley we may have got his peak bayern days not a year of missery for him and nothing for us.

In the past

Andy Hill, we seriously never replaced him with a truly decent rb until zaba
Darren Huckerby well liked but when people remenice he is hardly mentioned.
Jihai Sun and Ian Brightwell were doing this multi postion and adaptability thing long before Pep made it fashionable

Anelka and Ireland.
All they were missing was a good manager ( or psychiatrist)
That last line is a killer! Along the same lines, Craig Bellamy. He was fantastic for us. In the 3-4 at the theatre of the leaking roof, Ferdinand was like a rabbit in the headlights when Bellamy was running at him. All that was missing was a golf club!

I might be the only one but I miss pre tantrum Cancelo

Same as many posters here said. Mahrez for me. Didn't appreciate him enough when he was playing for us.

Creates goals, scores goals, keeps the ball well, and he's never injured.

Anelka was one of the best player’s we’ve ever had. And one of the most important. Had he not kept us up we’d have gone to our new home in the second tier, and I doubt the rest of what has happened would have followed.
