Glad thats out out he way...the penalty was soft especially as Ruben was fouled before it.
Anyway fuck it..We have suffered worse and been in the shit over the decades..I can take a defeat.That feeling never leaves us if you were there in the 80's. CTWD..Get behind the lads.

Sums up the club atm. Allowing mediocre all over the place and seemingly content with it.
 
We have to get our next signings bang on in the next few windows & be ruthless and get rid of some dead wood, we'll be back but it might take a season or two

Actually thought it wasn’t so much the quick counter-attacks today. The CB’s pushed up so the spaces were much less.

The back 3 defended well in the most part. We were just carved apart in midfield. Need to play Nunes in there.
 
Two nil flattered us. Four or Five would have been a fairer reflection.
Top 4 is the target, at least 3 sides are significantly better than us.
Hopefully we can fast track the new DOF, the current guy is asleep on the job.
 
Another limp dicked performance.
Created nothing and gifted them an easy win with incompetent defending.
In comedian parlance we were lucky to get nil.
It's relegation form. Not that I think that's the remotest possibility but lose Wednesday and we'll be mid table, likely with the red filth 1 point behind us, that's how bad.
Chance to win the league is gone.
Top 4 is in distinct danger.
We need to go back to absolute basics. Some of our players need to be told a few home truths about where their futures lie if they cannot implement the managers plans on tge pitch any longer.

Last two or three games, Bernardo has looked utterly devastated at the final whistle. It's really struck me. Criticise him all you like, but let no-one say that that man doesn't care about the team and the badge.

We need to turn it around quickly. A couple of more loses and serious questions about Pep will start to be asked. Surely we will stop the rot with a win on Wednesday.

I don't fancy us particularly against Forrest, it won't be easy, but baby steps, as long as Pep is in charge and can bring in most if not all of his targets, we'll be okay soon enough.

As I said in the match thread, I'm not a happy clapper, but Pep has plenty of credit in the bank and would be my first choice to start the rebuild.

We won the league 4 times on the trot, proper Blues will remember that and look forward to a rebuild, I do.

I think the top brass and Pep have proved their worth for us time and time again so I will stick by them no matter what.

Second half wasn't too bad in general but we still made enough catastrophic errors for Liverpool to have scored about 4 despite not playing particularly well themselves. The whole team looks mentally and physically shot to pieces.
 
Outplayed as expected, less embarrassing scoreline than expect.

Just need to find an XI that works for the rest of the season/until January.
