The second half was much better than I expected and we did see some old City coming back.

We just need to add creativity and runs in behind.

Liverpool are very good in defence though to be fair to them.

Game was lost before it started. Could easily have conceded 3-5 more. I simply can’t understand how the best manager of all time once again starts a midfield of Rico, Gundo and Bernardo when they’ve proven again and again that they don’t go together at all. Once again offering zero protection for the back 4.

11 points behind with Rodri out for the rest of the season. This time we won’t turn it around, impossible to fix even half of our issues in January

Don’t disagree but the business plan is built around tourists and JCL. Don’t think there are many local fans looking to book a hotel room at the Etihad . Without the new fans the club is fucked financially.

Second half wasn't too bad in general but we still made enough catastrophic errors for Liverpool to have scored about 4 despite not playing particularly well themselves. The whole team looks mentally and physically shot to pieces.

Actually thought it wasn’t so much the quick counter-attacks today. The CB’s pushed up so the spaces were much less.

The back 3 defended well in the most part. We were just carved apart in midfield. Need to play Nunes in there.

Agreed, although it still happened on a couple of occasions, notably when Nunes did really well after Dias and Akanji were taken out by one pass through the middle.

Wasn’t as bad as it could have been and Pep and the team looked in a slightly better mental state at the final whistle as it wasn’t a massacre. So some pluses. Never winning the title this season but let’s slowly progress and start with a win on Wednesday and see where it takes us.

Oh and Walker is done after a fine career with us and Lewis is done before his career with us even started.

We can still get 98 points which I highly doubt Liverpool will get close too. Nothing is done yet no matter how bad it seems. It’s unlikely but that’s the margins this team plays for. A game at a time. We play Liverpool at home
