Phil was so disappointing today. What is going on with him?

I get the fatigue from older players & players in unfamiliar positions covering for injuries and such like but Phil has been a massive disappointment this season unfortunately.
He’s just not delivering when in possession and has started to go missing in the tough games something just doesn’t seem right with him.

On a match by match basis we need to buckle down and cut out the individual errors which are costing us dearly. Looking at the overall situation we (the fans) need to understand and appreciate how much winning the league last season against all the odds took out of the players and Pep. It’s a knock on effect of no real ‘off season’ for most of the squad coupled with no real ‘pre season’ all of which causes fatigue which inevitably leads to injuries which leads to some players being over played which leads to fatigue … etc etc.

went as per predicted.....just surprised the scousers didnt score more in the first half...

Static traffic cone midfield who were more NONE existent than the last 5 games letting liverpools attack at will and our back four being horribly exposed. Gundo and Lewis were none existent in that first half in either midfield, attack wise or defense

To reitrate, Gundo is finished and Lewis is not a midfielder. KDB still doesnt look interested and cant keep possession and Nunes isnt good enough and doesnt have the heart.

Doku about the only one to come out with any credit in an attacking sense though its hard to criticise Haaland as he has got zero support.

Bernardo at least works his socks off as per usual

The sooner we see the back of Gundo and Lewis in midfield we may start to see better performances

I agree about Gundo and Lewis but who is fit to play there.

I’m not that good on tactics and stuff but Kev doesn’t offer anything defensively so,at 1-0, without Rodri or any recognised defensive midfielder, bringing on Kev might be seen as a gamble at that stage?
