Support Pep

100 % behind Pep ,he is the greatest manager ever . the current situation is not his fault and media will push for him to leave .
"the current situation is not his fault and media will push for him to leave ."

That applies to every manager in the league and the bigger the club the bigger the headlines.

Pep is not beyond criticism as are the club, we have made huge mistakes in the last few windows and anyone saying other are deluded. Small squad, loyalty and fatigue has come back to hit us hard.

Now time to toughen up and make big decisions to get back on track. A lot on here seem to be far too attatched to certain players and not for the club.

The club and it's future success is all that matters.

Let's imagine the board give Pep the boot - who would they appoint? There isn't a single manager that could replace Pep at short notice therefore I believe the board will not say those dreaded words "He has the support of the Board" because we all know what that actually means. They will keep their cool and press on with the world's number one coach ---- PEP.
Had to laugh at some of the suggestions of the manager to replace Pep, before he resigned. A lot wanted Emery, how’s that going right now?

The constant success of recent years has dulled a few memories I think. After we won the title in 2014 under Pellegrini, we didn’t win it again until 2018. In that period we were signing the likes of Rodwell, Boney and Sinclair. The man brought in to sort it out was Pep, he won the league in his second season, and the rest is history. A similar rebuild is needed, although not as drastic I suspect, and Pep is already here. Let’s not as a fan base be a bunch of spoilt brats turning on our own, let’s get behind Pep and the players, current and new.

How can any real fan not support the boss? If this was a ship, the captain goes down with its crew and passengers.

We all win together and we all go down together.

The pressure put on the fanbase for alot of seasons now with 115 and competing at the top has been exhausting at times. We all need this period to rest and reset.

So lucky pep decided to stay and help rebuild the squad.

Ignore the media if you can. Laugh at the stupid cunts for trying to create narratives to sell reactions. It’s all a game and they think we are all too stupid to see it.

It’s football, our club is struggling, that’s it. We go again.

Pep is the best manager we've ever had and is probably the best manager in the world. Right now we're in a perfect storm of one of the worst injury crisis I've ever seen, added to underwhelming recent recruitment and players suffering burnout due to the phenomenal efforts they've put in over the last few years. Some of the key players in our success are now sadly coming to the end of their time here as age catches up with them.

A major rebuild is needed and Pep is the man to.lead that.

And it may have to be ruthless in the process, in which case so be it.

I think the vast majority are behind Pep and the team, but lots are understandably pissed off with this run of results.

The club have let it go stale & you have to wonder why tixi is going as he’s left us in this mess.

Pep & players deserve full support & it’s time for the bananas to come out if full force

The recent decline is definitely down to poor forward thinking, whether or not Txiki knew his retirement was drawing nearer and stopped having the desire is anybody’s guess.

I would like to thank him for everything he’s allowed me to experience in football but it’s definitely time for a new man with desire to take the reins.

Nobody could have forecast Rodri and Bobb being injured before the season got started, nobody realised Gundogan had lost his legs, and nobody realised the same about Walker. We had no time to replace Alvarez, then Kev and Johnny both had ongoing injury problems. Phil was ill, Nathan did his hamstring, then Akanji, Dias, Doku and Savinho also had fitness issues. Grealish was a second season wonder. Little wonder we are struggling. To be honest the defeats against Sporting and Spuds and the capitulation against Feyenoord hurt more than losing at Anfield, hopefully we can turn this around quickly

Next home game the Pep song. This man has all of our backing.,show him vocally the love we have for this amazing legend
Couldn't agree more BUT could we just shout Pep, Pep, Pep over and over again like we do with Haaland - think it will be a lot more effective. While the other Pep song is great the middle bit always get's lost and dies away!

We are and we will support Pep.

Unfortunately, It’s all just come to a head at once.

I’ve just watched the Together: Four In A Row documentary for the first time, this evening. Last season, everything at the club was about winning a record fourth league title in a row. The intensity it took after winning a treble the season before must have been incredible. To keep the level of concentration, performances and intensity going week-after-week for four straight seasons… I can see why we have been like we are this season. It’s inevitable there’d be a come down from it at some point, you cannot keep that going.

You could even see it in the immediate week after we’d achieved the Four In A Row, with the defeat to the Rags in the FA Cup final, the intensity and pressure had already left us and we just weren’t there for that final.

This season we’ve been the same.

Add to that the injuries we’ve had.

Add to that the poor form of those who have been fit enough to play.

And you got the [im]perfect storm to see what’s happening in front of us this season.

But it’s not a time to panic or see our arses. They’ve all got more than enough credit in the bank to have a dip. Christ, most teams (other than City, but even a few times City) in the last decade have had a dip after winning one league title, never mind four.

In 2012 City won the league and then finished 2nd in 2013
*In 2013 United won the league and then finished 7th in 2014*
City 2014 Champions, 2015 2nd
*Chelsea 2015 Champions, 2016 10th*
*Leicester 2016 Champions, 2017 12th*
*Chelsea 2017 Champions, 2018 5th*

City 2018 Champions, 2019 Champions
City 2019 Champions, 2020 2nd (*but 18 points behind 1st*)
Liverpool 2020 Champions, 2021 3rd (*but 16 points behind 1st*)
…then City have won the league in the last four seasons.

Despite it being called the ‘Pep and Klopp era’, Liverpool were up-and-down a fair bit, finishing 4th 4th 2nd 1st 3rd 2nd 5th 3rd, during Pep’s time at City… that’s a bit up-and-down but still impressive. However, when you think we’ve finished 3rd 1st 1st 2nd 1st 1st 1st 1st under Pep… that’s incredible!

Like I say, credit in the bank for Pep. And credit in the bank for the team, even the likes of Walker (who is being disrespected appallingly by City fans on here and especially on social media).
It might be the end of their time for a lot of them at the end of this season, but the man I want here more than any player is Pep to see us through a good rebuild of the squad again.

Let’s proper get behind him at the Forest game: 110-111, SSL1, SSL3, 1894 lads and lasses, and everyone else!

Say that you want me…(say that you want me)
All of the time…(all of the time)
Say that you need me…(say that you need me)
Always be mine…(always be mine)

I'm glad you shared that clip. That was the point I knew the silly bald bastard had fell in love with City and the feeling is still very mutual!
