Given how well Ake played at LB, I'd keep him there and play Gvariol in his 'natural position.' I'm desperate to see Nunes in the middle. I'm sure Pep has reasons for not playing him there, but Idk how he can continue to see our midfield get run by and not think we need one of our only fast players there, even with his downsides. I won't say this is a 'must-win' for the top four, but it's close.

They are far from sulking, Their confidence is on the floor for numerous reasons this season. Plus they are human like the rest of us they can't pull up trees every year.

Maybe a season like this will do most so called "fans" the world of good.

I do with Ederson and KDB although sulking is really the wrong phrase, maybe heads turned?

Ederson had the chance to go into semi retirement on 400K a week and I think KDB was seriously tempted by Saudi and the fortunes on offer.

Both have won the lot and have nothing to prove, to get offered the cash they were is mind blowing, even if they are millionaires already.

It's a job to them, nothing more.

As for KDB, He's barely kicked a ball all season, Truth be told KDB wears his heart on a sleeve and never hides away from anything, He's a actually too honest on his interviews whether it's with City or Belguim, That's his personality.

We could say alot of the players body language is good over the recent weeks, I wouldn't say it's "sulking", They are going through a bad patch for the first time in a long time.

A few wins under our belts consecutively will happen and all will be back to normal for fans.

Just edited before you replied, I said sulking was the wrong phrase, maybe especially Ederson has his head turned.

He was won everything and is playing far away from his and his family's home. The chance to end his career earning 400k plus a week is groundbreaking money even for him and with his elite career he's won the lot.

KDB wonderful player but a difficult character for me, not sure what the issue is, not totally convinced by the injury, I just think he is aware his body can no longer take the pounding it has.

!00% but I am not sure this squad is capable of that as is, if we can get to January in some sort of position we could kick on with a few top additions but even then I think we are going to struggle compared to previous seasons.

As good as Ederson has been for us, the fact is that he made 2 horrendous mistakes in the Feyenoord match. Imho, Pep would have looked a fool/week if he'd left him in goal for the Liverpool game.

Tough game tonight and I'm not even expecting the win. We should win even in paper but we will see where the players heads are at.

Ideally we could do with a statement win or preferably coming back from behind with a big win. That should give us some confidence.
