Forest, supported by my daughter’s partner, are going very well currently. I think a period at Anfield where we did ok may just have improved our confidence. We must get the tempo up. City 2-1.

Forest are no mugs, if we pass the ball around for the sake of it they will sit in deep and just watch us doing it, teams don't seem to chase the ball round like they used to do a few seasons back they just sit and wait for a break.

I suspect we do win but they score with their first counter attack annoyingly.
When we pass the ball about aimlessly, all game, it gives the opposition a breather. They all just sit 20 yards in to their own half, 2 banks of 4 with the strikers high up ready for the turnover.
That ball over the top which Salah burst on to for the scousers first yesterday has gotten teams joy all season.

We just can't handle pace and running back towards our own goal. It kills us every time.

Forest have got some quick forwards and I don't see us keeping a clean sheet. So unless we start to find Haaland and he starts to put chances away, I can only see another defeat on the cards.

That FA cup draw coupled with the fact I’ve just watched the 4 in a row documentary has renewed my enthusiasm & excitement!! Our players ARE good enough & gradually recovering from injuries. WE CAN DO THIS. Come on Citeh !!!

Well, it's bizarre, but I realised today that I feel really relaxed. For the first time in a very long time — in years — the pressure's off. No-one counting us in now. No-one's looking at us. Being first or second for years on end, it was “Oh yeah, it's going to be City, isn't it?”
It's great. We might just creep up on everybody…
