Much much better. Ake, Grealish, Doku and Kev very good. Bernie had a good game as well. Certain players still dawdling on the ball and sloppy and Forest could have scored a couple but Gvardiol should have scored two very good chances as well.
Typical we have picked up a couple of injuries again!
 
Very encouraging signs, we moved the ball quicker and I thought Doku and Bernardo were outstanding tonight. Kdb obviously can not play every game, but he still has magic moments in him. Defensively we still look a bit fragile, but an enjoyable evening.

Was Akanji taken off because of an injury?
 
Much better all around. Gundog and Bernado much better than of late, Jack looks at home in the middle and HAS to stay there, Kev was just Kev, Ortega is a much better "proper" keeper than Eddie, which is what we need right now and Ake plays and the defence looks far more secure.
 
Very satisfying result.

Lots of positives.

Kev being Kev.

Doku unplayable at times.

Jack in the middle working hard.

Bernie everywhere.

We still have a bumpy road ahead but the team showed guts out there tonight.

Injuries again is shit and we must start to assemble a new squad starting Jan anything else is negligent.

Anyway, no negatives here, brilliant by all.

Crowd pretty good aswell.
 
Lovely stuff, just what the doctor ordered.

What a difference to have KDB and Jack in there, we just looked more assured as a team and whilst I would have loved to see Haaland put the cherry in the top with a late goal it won’t do the team any harm to have others chip in with some goals.

For the first time in a while we got the rub of the green - still a few careless moments to give them a sniff but fucking lovely - a clean sheet, a few goals and a welcome 3 points.

Fingers crossed on Akanji and Ake, disaster if we’ve picked up any more injuries.

A consistent back 5 would do wonders. Unfortunately the injuries just keep coming

Gvardiol was very sloppy again defensively I thought. His passes are often under hit.
 
Much better performance, Kev majestic and fine performances from Jack, Doku and Bernardo. Gundo is just way off it unfortunately, getting caught on the ball far too easily. On to Palace now and we have to build on this
 
Really enjoyed that. Forest have something about them and caused us a few problems, but overall we were very good. Kev and Jack in central midfield transformed us, so much more positive and forward thinking.

Still some confidence issues at the back, but win at the weekend and we have something to really build on.
 
Well that was exactly what we needed - clean sheet and KdB running the game.

KdB was absolutely superb and a clear MOTM for me - his determination, drive, passing and finishing were superb. If we can keep him fit, we have a genuine chance of pulling that points difference back! He's just one of those players who can win any game and we have no one else who comes close to him sadly.

I thought Doku was close behind KdB. His skill, feet and constant demanding of the ball showed real drive and leadership and something we've lacked recently. Once Doku adds finishing to his game, he will be unstoppable. He's one of those players who gets people up off their feet!

Dias, Ake, Gvardiol and Akaji did well at the back and I was gutted to see Ake go off and I really hope it's not serious. He's been superb for us.

I thought Ortega was absolutely superb. I know this won't be a popular opinion but Ortega is a better round goalkeeper than Ederson. When Ederson came to the club, no other keeper in the PL had feet like him but now they are all working on their footwork. What Ederson hasn't done is work on his keeping and I honestly think Ortega is a far better shot stopper and is good enough with his feet. Personally, I would play Ortega over Ederson and let's see if he is willing to fight for his place. If I'm honest, I was very surprised he considered going to Saudi and I think he's lost something because of that.

It's also got to be said that Haaland was utterly anonymous and I wondered what the point of keeping him on the pitch was. Of course, the counter to that is that everytime he makes a run he pulls people out of position but let's be honest, he offered no attacking threat at all tonight. I honestly think it's time he was dropped and we play that 4-6-0 formation again to strengthen the midfield and try to get Gundogan, Silva and Foden into the game.

Overally, great result and good performance. It was also nice to see Liverpool pegged back.

Let's hope we can build on it against Palace and United.

11 blue heroes tonight. Plus an amazing passionate manager legend in Pep. Clean sheet. So happy. We need our crowd every home game to try get this team over the line. They really need us to step up. This is going to be a tough season
