Hoping that’s the beginning of our twenty game (at least) unbeaten run.
 
Much better. Clean sheet will go some way to fixing the broken confidence we have. Still gave up waaaaay too many good chances and missed so many of our own.

But it was more like us.

Midfield was balanced and defence was solid. Dias and debruyne make such a big difference.

Grealish superb and Bernardo/doku not far behind
 
A lot better than previous games just need to build on this now against palace on Saturday,had a feeling the red scousers would draw and I think they’ll draw at Everton lunchtime kick off then they’ll see what pressure is ..

Great at times, but so many sloppy passes and silly decisions being made, which will get punished against a better side

Just great to get 3 points on the board and a few goals, as well as a clean sheet

Still think there's plenty to improve on, but Kev and Jack won us the game centrally, with nods to Doku and Bernardo as well

Thought Gundogan was awful again, so slow on the ball and got caught 3 or 4 times

Hopefully Ake and Akanji aren't out for long

Gundog is a liability……against better teams he’ll cost us …
