AKANJI?????? Can count on one hand the number of games he’s missed for us. Stones and Ake, yes. Akanji has missed like 5 games for us in 3(?) years.
What’s that got to do with Crystal Palace result mate ?Can I just say this... I'm not religious but I hope Antonio has some help from above. That car looks a hell of a mess.
Always liked him as a player, he's always talked warmly about City and comes across as a great bloke.
I take it that you haven't watched united since 2008.Not really sure why it's tiring, it's the reality of the situation.
United will dominate us in midfield, and will cause us all sorts of problems on the break given how often we give the ball away.
They also don't concede many goals, and given we don't really look like scoring them, I think they could be a problem for us next week.
23 games left 13 points needed, reckon we will be ok.
Thought he was terrible from the 1st minute and decided not to see anything on the pitch apart from what would hurt us.Some of these refs need to be kneecapped.
while i dont disagree with you, Stones is never ever fit for more than a few games at a time....Whatever, I'll take the point. But that was fucking shocking in the end.
There are so many "first team" players giving us absolutely fuck all at the moment. Less than fuck all, to be honest. They're tired, over-played, and lacking the hunger you need to play for a Pep team.
Walker, Gundogan, Bernardo, and Gvardiol - all of them have been absolutely terrible in so many games recently. Giving the ball away constantly, making huge mistakes, and gifting it to the other team at all times.
Palace created nothing. We gifted them the first goal and then passed it straight to them for the second goal. That sort of shit is unacceptable but Pep seems to think it's fine despite it happening 10 times per game at the moment?
Meanwhile "squad players" like Ortega, Doku, Nunes, and Grealish are giving us so much more and carrying an actual bloody threat when they come on. It's time for Pep to really shake things up just before January imo.
Ortega
Akanji, Stones, Dias, Lewis
Kovacic, Grealish
Foden, De Bruyne, Doku
Haaland
Play that XI until the window opens. Let Gundogan and Walker save themselves from any more embarrassment, give Bernardo a proper rest, drop Gvardiol until he gets his fucking act together. Give the others a chance!
And if Kovacic isn't fit for the Manchester derby, what does Gundogan currently offer us that Wright or O'Reilly wouldn't give us? He gets caught dawdling at least twice per half. Pep needs to put a rocket up his arse.
Far too many people accept mediocracy.Well done blues.
I'll post before the rags and dippers and city-fans-for-2 years start creating havoc with their wum posts and entitled posts.
Great point. Could come in handy come the end of the season. After not winning in 7 games it's just baby steps for a while. We're dead on our feet, half the team not fully fit yet we've picked ourselves up and won 1 and drawn 1.
Told you this season will be tough, we need to be patient and look at the bigger picture, something most on here forget to do.
Well done boys.
he is never a defender, he is small ,slow and very weak.Win little second balls causing us big problems
Walker out
Bernado out
Gundo out
Nunez ?????
Lewis prob not but ????????
Sav young so patience needed
Lewis good goal but not sure he is a defender
Look, when our defence is decimated with injury Pep cannot do any more. Defensive Midfield - kovacic and Rodri out .We also hear that Grealish has a niggle somewhere. And there are possibly more with niggles who are working through them. So it's difficult to put out a competitive team. Last season we didn't have these issues.Pep has to do more this season. Not good enough from his (our) team again.
Even if our players weren't self destructing, our style of play is jaded.
Funny how a season can completely collapse. Pity that it's to us.
I understand why he might want a small squad but it’s high risk - when you lose 6-7 players out or unfit it is disastrous. No five in a row this season but the last four have been wonderful.Rob Jones is a ****.
The Palace player should have been booked and a penalty check at least should have been called for. VAR not fit for purpose.
Anyway I think the lads did alright all things considered. The laughably small squad is on Pep.
we used to win six in a row with our hands tied behind our backs. There was going to be a drop off at some point , some absolute professional bellends on here , maybe we should win 6 in a row - even then some wouldn’t he happy on here, fuck knows what this place will be like when Pep leaves and an even bigger drop in form happens.
