I am pissed off with opposition players diving but this season we are as bad as any.
I used to be really annoyed with Cancelo but Nunes Savinho and Lewis are up there with the worst.
Its bad enough going down easy but spending a minute waving around looking for a free kick is really annoying me.
I just can't understand if you haven't been awarded the foul why you just can't get up and play away.

I would never defend any of our players diving or cheating but there was one today from Palace player Will Hughes that was pitiful. He was nudged on the shoulder and went down clutching his head. Sadly the referee was conned and allowed the trainer to come on. At that point Palace were under the cosh so they gained some respite. Retrospective action should be taken against the cheats.

I saw that
Its pitiful alright
The sooner they starting clamping down on this crap the better.
Most of the posters on here would have played a bit of football but players cheating must really piss them off

The fake head injury was bad but the other **** that threw himself into Stephan and then stayed down for 5 mins should be embarrassed
They should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute and fined and banned for a game or two

They could stop this sort of horseshit by introducing a proper concussion protocol that requires head injuries, real and Will Hughes’s-style, to be subject to a full assessment by an independent doctor in the team dressing room. Concussion doesn’t always manifest immediate symptoms, so 15 minutes should do it.

Whilst receiving treatment VAR should look at their performance incident, easy to see if it’s genuine, if not then yellow card

I didn’t play at too high a level, West Lancs League, but was brought up to never show you was hurt, it was a weakness, so if I ever did stay down, I was hurt

Dont think we can really complain when we've got a few cheating fuckers too

Hate it!

Hate it even more when our players do it because I used to feel proud of the Kompany, de Jong, Vieira, Barry, Kolarov culture of the club that we didn’t stand for any diving through the team. And that culture lived on through the team for a good decade. Yaya wasn’t a diver, Kun used to always try and stay on his feet, David Silva wasn’t a diver, when Foden first came on the scene one of his biggest plus points was he always tried to stay on his feet.

Now it seems to have all gone out of the window. We’re all at it. The culture has completely changed and I don’t like it with us at all. Even Foden now is one of the ones who’s always on the floor moaning at the ref asking for free kicks when he’s dived. All the younger lads are terrible for it: Doku, Savinho, Lewis…

Palace today were much worse than even we were though. Every time any of them were slightly touched they went rolling around pretending they had stood on a landmine or been hit in the head with a hammer.

This shit is the biggest issue in football!

None of those rainbow armband, poppies, silences or racism rows that everyone makes a fucking meal of for a week then forgets about until it comes round again a year later because none of those issues are a regular occurrence across the sport. The real issue that needs tackling and big awareness drives over is all the diving, feigning injury and cheating in the sport.

It’s ruining the sport!

Maybe if we started the game with a minutes rage at all the twats who dive maybe it would solve it. 50,000 fans all rage-shouting that "salah lives in a diving bell" would be a lovely thing to applaud.

The referee doesn’t seem very popular on here but it was really refreshing to see him leave the guy on the deck for about five minutes and let play carry on. They usually crack after about 30 seconds and stop play, if they’re not getting up.

What would have been even more refreshing is if their manager had been fuming at the fucker for leaving them a man down for so long and hooked him straight off.

That’s probably asking a bit too much though.
