Club World Cup - Summer 2025

We need to forget the fuck about this and focus on getting top 4 or on finishing lower than Europa Conference positions

Sorted my trip. Doing the second and third group games, followed by any potential last 16 and QF. Guaranteed games in Atlanta and Orlando. Win the group and it would be Orlando in the last 16 and last 8. Finish second and it's Miami and New York. Finish third or fourth and it's off to Texas for a week :)

Hoping to do the game in Phily and a couple of other teams games around it, 4 day trip.
Does anyone know if its common practice for FIFA to print names on tickets at major tournaments like the WC?
You could buy multiple for the 2023 CWC and anyone could use them.

I haven't been to a real WC since 2002 and they didn't then, they even warned passport checks etc before Euro 96 and there was nothing.

Hopefully there will be a couple of blocks put aside for City fans to buy like there was in 2023 in different categories for each game, which went on general sale if not sold to City members.

Cheers I hope youre right.

Based in Atlanta, here's my plan :

19 June : Miami v Porto Atlanta
22 June : City v Al Ain Atlanta
26 June : Juventus v City Orlando
28 June : Bayern? v 2D Charlotte
29 June : Athletico/PSG? v 2A Atlanta

Finish 1st in group
30 June : City v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v Juventus? Miami
4 July : W53 v City Orlando
5 July : W51 v W52 Atlanta
8 July : City v W58 NJ/NY

Finish 2nd in group
30 June : Juventus? v 2H Orlando
1 July : Real Madrid? v City Miami
5 July : City v W56 NJ/NY
9 July : W59 v City NJ/NY

AND the final on the 13th :O

Planning on being with a few blues from UK, staying at ours and everything done as a road trip (no messing with flights), even the drive to NJ/NY (13 hours). Then we can quit/return if we get knocked out and will only book accommodation that can be cancelled.

Sorry I don’t understand the 2H, W58 etc.
Probably being stupid

Pretty exciting looking at different ways how to plan this trip. I want to do two games. It’s either first two games, second and last group game or risk it and go for the last game and the first knockout game. I don’t really fancy going to the last game as I feel it may be a bit of a dead rubber.

The last group game could have top spot riding on it. It's likely that winning the group lands you Red Bull Salzburg. Finishing runner-up gets you Real Madrid.

My Plan, God and Pep willing.

Arrive Sun 5pm New York, train to Philadelphia.

Monday, June 16 -

Flamengo vs. Esperance de Tunis, 9 p.m. (Philadelphia)

Tuesday, June 17 -

Fluminense vs. Borussia Dortmund, 12 p.m. (East Rutherford)

Wednesday, June 18 -

Manchester City vs. Wydad AC, 12 p.m. (Philadelphia)

Thursday, June 19 - Fly home pm

Dont think I can stretch to the other City games on a financial or physical basis (FOC who hates the sun) but you never know lol.

Do any of our USA based Blues have a good link for booking trains and also one for sourcing hotels, similar to our booking.com?
