Except a defeat here and against PSG but home win versus Brugge.

Ideally we wouldn’t have had this fixture before the rags game at weekend
 
2-2 draw. We will go 2-0 up then somehow find a way to avoid victory via a defensive howler.

Even more ideal we would have no fixtures at all until after;
1. A lengthy winter break.

2. A successful January transfer window.

3. All the injured players return.

We dont play the last two leage games unitl mid January. Knockouts Feb onwards. We could have a decent squad back by then and maybe buy someone in January.

Long way to go in this. Didn't the dippers get to a final after finishing 3rd in their group once?
 
KDB to play a KDB genius pass to Haaland for City's first and someone unlikely for the second.

(That should at least keep the score close.)

Given Ake and Akanji are injured that means Walker is playing.

Walker + Gundogan = another loss I'm afraid.

Hopefully Kovacic will start the derby at least.

it's time to re phrase mistake to certain players not being good enough at this level..but gallantly still giving 100% which I applaud. The day the 100% drops...fk em...Many of us would have crawled 100 miles to play for City - even if it meant f'king up...we'd all give the absolute max in terms of trying!

By this I mean the whole tournament, with some people saying we should focus on this and the FA cup. I don't see us being able to rest players in the league as we are in a fight for top 4. I don't see us having a period where we can recover and get players back, seems like a game every few days.

Unless in Jan we buy a RB, two CBs, a DM and they hit the ground running which I can't see happening, I'm not confident of us beating Madrid, Barca, Liverpool, Bayern etc.

1-1 would be a result as I'd take only conceding one at the minute....
