A lot of people seem to assume that Akanji will be fit. Where is this documented? If he isn't then are we looking at Wilson-Esbrand? We need him to become the modern day Stephen Jordan - a specialist in these occasions.

Can't see us getting anything. After Forest, there was hope. Just showed it was down to them being wasteful in front of goal, rather than us playing well!!
 
holy fuck, 43% of us think we'll lose at home to this United.

well, confidence is certainly at a bit of a decadal low in the team and now the fans. Foden and Kovacic will add some much welcome control. However, I will be watching in trepidation.

Having slept on it, I actually think we could win this - we just can't play Lewis, Gundogan, and Bernardo in the middle yet again.

Hopefully Kovacic and Foden, and maybe Akanji, being back for this will make a difference.

I don’t mind get battered all round europe and in the league but just not against this shower of shite sunday.

They're a shit team but they've got exactly the type of individuals to cause us problems. Amorin has already seen how to set up a far inferior team to go out and capitalise on our weaknesses

It wouldn't shock me if this was another Spurs
 
Nunes in the middle please at least he’s mobile and a bit quicker than the others, fucking dreading it I might just get absolutely smashed so I have zero recollection whatsoever.

It worked well because if the defence and they are injured, I’d be surprised if Akanji plays and if he does it will be with an injury no doubt. Ake won’t play. Fuck the highline off just this once to negate the ball over the top invite them on then get balls through to Haaland. Ye I can dream as we know non of this will happen.
