Support band..I was really drunk when the support band was announced on,big stage with the Moutains behind giving a brilliant backdrop....and this little man walks up to the Mic..I thought to myself
" what's he gonna do ? "
Boom.Enter The Voice ,Manic Street Preachers blew me away the noise just fitted the setting superbly, they were absolutely brilliant.
Don't remember much about Oasis ,but the Manics .....Fantastic.
Black Grape were also secret support band and I remember them going down well. Great Trip,Blues everywhere,was like a Maine rd home game tbh. Top notch.

I was going to post Stereo MC's supporting the Happy Mondays at the Town and Country club, Kentish Town.Stereo MCs supporting the Happy Mondays at the Free Trade Hall (93,94?). The Stereos were so good (had just released Connected, I think) that the Mondays were like a caricature of themselves. We ended up leaving halfway through the Mondays’ performance
