I did see a headline this morning that said a top 6 rival will blow the internet apart by signing him. It was a bit puzzling but then I realised they must mean the top 6 of the bottom half. Everton maybe?

Rashford in a nutshell. Goes on a purple patch and scores a few goals, cue plaudits of being the great white hope of English football, is this the turning point for him, get him starting for England, etc. Proceeds to do nothing for the next few months. Goes on a purple patch. Is this the turning point? He needs to be in the next England squad. Does nothing for the next few months.

He's 27, and is still talked about as if he is 18.

There was a time when I would have said I'd like him in our team. He would've been the only rag player I would've taken. But I think our recruitment needs to be done elsewhere.
