United (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Stop lol.

You don’t treat the best manager the club has ever had like a piece of shit after a shit season.

Come on blues, we are better than this.

It really hurts which is normal but I will not participate in bad mouthing pep nor txiki nor anyone else actually.

The team has come to its natural end. We don’t have a magic wand. It will take time to replace so many players. We have the funds to do that. Viana is also coming in.

I won’t do it sorry.

I trust the boss.

So many 'trust in Pep' and 'credit in the bank' posters... sounding very much like the rags who wanted Ferguson to stay when he went past his best.

When it's time, it's time. Pep will know when it's time to go. I'd be absolutely amazed if he's not thinking about leaving. If he's not, he's kidding himself.

We continue with this shit, top 6 will become out of reach.

An absolute shit show of a season from top to bottom. And to be beat like that today off the worst united side for years sugar coats it.

We.cant change the 11 players at once, but we can the manager.

Surely Peps time must be getting scrutinised at this moment.

When do we make a decision? When the rags go above us?

Which could be turn of the year?

An absolute dire drop off from a team that was considered immortal.

Just fuck the season off, looks like the players already have!!

Foden on City website reckons we were controlling the game……wow on that basis we really are fucked!
If he means they were boring the fuck out of everyone while having less possession he's bang on. When you've got young kids your brain stops working.

One of the worst derbies I've watched. A pathetic performance from City in a derby. I wonder if the players care? Probably not.

Bernardo seemed genuinely pissed off in his post match interview and didn't pull many punches. Feel like he is in the minority though

I don’t get it.

Sorry. Wrong thread.

We used to be shit though

My nephew is absolutely devastated about this result and I get it - from his perspective these are the best players ever & the best manager, we should be doing better. When I was growing up, we had mostly shit players and mostly shit managers, so being shite was expected.

another solid outing by Erling but in fairness cant just blame him. The mentality just went walk abouts in the summer break

It’s not only the team that needs a complete reset, it’s Pep. He needs to reinvent himself and find new solutions, new ways of working,

It’s not only the results, we’ve been playing shite all season, and to be honest have become a really, really boring side. Our play is far too often dull, slow and just boring, even if we win. Our possession-based, never lose the ball, pass it backwards, style of play lacks any urgency and excitement. But we were at least winning. Now we can’t keep possession, can’t create chances and can’t take the ones we do create. I’m bored for most of the 90 minutes these days, and I am not only talking about this season.

We need a fresh start and a different approach.

Ah yes, it has been coming. We have lost our edge. The rebuild should have started on the day after our treble. Bellingham Rice Kimmich Musiala or whoever should have been first inside the door.

I still remember Chelsea signing the at that point of time - most in demand player in the world - Eden Hazard in 2012
His first words - i am going to the home of European champions.

Instead we did a Spurs or United - went even further into the Abyss to find something even worse and two years hence here we are!
We’ve got so much right over the last 15 years. But the last 2 years has been a right royal fuck up. From such a tower of strength aswell! Frustrating!!

They say all the right things these players and do fuck all on the pitch. Shut your mouths and perform. Your paid handsomely to do so no excuses

I pointed this out in the pre match. The lad has absolutely no understanding of his own position let alone full back so it was suicidal playing him there.

First half he actually did pretty well but you can just see the lights are on but no one is home and at some point he’ll fuck things up.

There was a little taster in the first half where he played the most ridiculous ball inside that a 7 year old on Hough End would’ve got a bollocking for.

He has very very low football intelligence.
That’s the whole problem with him.
Very low football intelligence.

Has Foden been caught shagging pep’s daughter or something I do believe something is troubling him he’s a shadow of his former self
